Born in Scottsdale, Arizona and raised in Phoenix, education has flown through Lennon's blood since birth. His mother came from Thailand to pursue a Master's degree in Education and his father is currently a teacher. Lennon is passionate about increasing student voice and performance by preparing highly-skilled rising educators starting in high school.
Lennon is a senior at Brophy College Preparatory, an a Jesuit high school in Phoenix, Arizona. He is also a graduate of Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona with an Associates in Arts degree in Elementary Education.
Local, State, & National Work
Lennon is active on the local, state, and national levels of our education system. On the local level, he is a member of a school board. This is his second year serving on the state level as a State Officer for Educators Rising Arizona, and he currently is the State President. Along with his participation in Educators Rising Arizona, he is a National Ambassador for Educators Rising and a member on the Teacher Candidate Advisory Group of the National Council on Teaching Quality.
